With a solid 4-7 foot swell (1.2-2.1 meters), today was the perfect day to visit the best point- and beach-breaks and create a surfing experience unlike any other.
Although our location makes us a prime travel destination, we are within a half hour's drive to some of the best breaks in Central America, including Playa Remanso and Playa Yankee (which were gnarly today). And for those who want the full-on, off the beaten trail experience, we visited Playa el Coco and Ostional. After careful research, talking with locals and catching some waves for ourselves, we know the best tides, wind, seasons and swell size to put together an exciting, memory-filled surf tour.
The idea of the week--our yoga classes will now take place on our floating platform. Say what? That's right; at sunset, we'll kayak out to our floating platform in our private bay and you can enjoy some relaxing, therapeutic yoga while standing on the waters of Playa Marsella.
